Postdoctoral Position: Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM)

 

Department of Mechanical Engineering at Michigan Technological University has one open position for a postdoctoral research associate in the area of atomic force microscopy (AFM) studies of biological structures and living cells in liquid media.

Requirements: A PhD degree in materials science, chemistry, physics, or mechanical engineering with research experience on AFM will be required. Applicants with experience on liquid cell AFM or biological research are preferred.  

 

Submission Process: The interested candidates should send a cover letter, three sample publications, CV, and contact information for three references to Dr. Reza Shahbazian-Yassar (reza@mtu.edu). For submission, please merge all the files into a single PDF file.

 

Deadline: The positions will start in summer 2013, and the applications will be reviewed in the order that they are received until the position is filled.
