Hello,

I was wondering if scanasyst fluid was OK for elasticity measurement in force volume mode in liquid?

Thanks,

Benoit.

Hi Benoit,

Yes, you can use this probe for force volume measurements. Just be aware of how soft your sample is - as for samples like cells, bacteria and membranes this probe may be on the stiffer side (~0.7N/m). If you need a softer probe I've used the DNP-A probe (0.4N/m) which is about the same tip radius.

Best,

Andrea
