I just reassembled a nanoscope III  - it was running fine - moved it across the room and now see the following on running the Nanoscope 4.23 software:

A division of  Veeco instruments inc

Fatal Error:

Divide Error

Nanoscope  4.23 r6   12/18/98

followed by values for Handle Status  Ground Switch abort  SS-ESP

Is there a configuration document for the bios settings (all 4 screens)?

Is there a configuration document for the eisa interrupts?

Is there a list of error codes?

Is there a debug / self test  program for this platform?

Server Intel tower dx2

DSP is a DSP021291 rev A board

Interface Board NS3#  INT 6281 rev B

If anyone has access to these it would greatly appreciated - tks Bob

Most of the material for this can be found on this site by searching for:

Nanoscope IIIa problem

which has most of the instructions on how to rebuild the bios and software.

The capture partition needs to be 32 Meg

Make  sure to start the program with z -i to initialize the capture partition.
