hello,

Is there a way to get the frequency response from piezo input voltage in Z direction to the cantilever deflection?  Can I do something like suggested in the thread titled "Transfer function of E type piezo tube ".

Best regards,

Umar.

I don't see why you could not follow a similar scheme. Did you try it already?

hello,

The method given in the post suggests the following steps,

1) Engage on the surface in contact mode

2) Use the Generic Lockin feature and set Lock-In to drive Z and Vertical as the input

3) Sweep

In the multimode software the first step will also start rastering the sample beneath the cantilever. Now if I move to steps 2,3 I will be ratering and sweeping at the same time. Is this correct or do I need to stop the rastering by setting the scan rate to 0 and disabling the slow axis?

Also can you please tell me where I can find documentation which explains the terms 'Drive Routing' and 'Lock-In1 Source'.

Umar.
