Hi,
I'm trying to export multiple IV plots with the Nanoscope Analysis software (last version). I noticed that the current values appear in a strange way in the ascii files, e.g. 1nA is exported as 1e+009, and so on. I don't have the same problem when I export the plots one by one. Is there anything that I have to set before exporting multiple plots?
Thank you in advance,
C
That sounds like a bug. Can you send me one of your raw Nanoscope files? My email is first name.last name at bruker dash nano dot com.
It sounds as if the problem happens when you do the exports by right clicking on files in the browser, but it does not happen when you do the export by right-clicking on the plot. Is that right?

thanks Bede, I just sent you an email with a raw file.
Thanks again for your help,
Chiara
Hi Chiara,
It looks as if the export is putting out the correct numbers (at least for the file you sent). As you noted, the export is using exponential notation, but if you pay attention to the units in the header line it appears to be correct (i.e. 4e+003 pN = 4 nN):
One other confusion is that all of the data is in time order (so the retract data is is reverse order from what you see in the plot below). Let me know if you want me to look at another file.
Hi Bede,
I have to apologize with you because I choose the wrong file. I'm gonna send you another one where you can find a Current-Voltage plot. The problem that I have is in fact in the Current values.
Sorry for the mistake, and thanks again for your help.
Ok, that is definitely a bug. I will report it and hope we can get a fix for the next release!
Thank you again, I'm very looking forward for that!
Regards,
