Hi,

I understand that this question may be outside the scope of this forum, but would anyone happen to know the minimum (ie critical) voltage that would need to be applied to the TT10 (Tungsten STM tips) to get field emission in a vacuum?

Thanks,

Dave

Hi Dave,

The conditions for field emission are that: V(Bias) > Barrier height/e if I am  not mistaken.

What are you trying to do?

Stefan
