Hi all,

With our MM8, we are not able to see the laser on the tip when aligned, effectively it moves out of view with the camera when moving towards the tip centre. Any suggestions on how I can re-align the camera? It does not seem to be affecting measurement.

Thanks,

Scott

Hi, Scott,

It's not necessary to see the laser in MM8 camera (don't reply on it as a laser alighment method) and actually in many cases you don't see like in the cases of in fluid imaging. The laser is not detected from the camera but from the photodiode in the head and if any light you saw from camera, they are just scattered light from a reflective sample.
