It still seems that when using the Spectrum 2D, the FFT the direction of the noise spots is inverted relative to the real space direction. Considering that the FFT can also be considered as reciprocal lattice, this is clearly incorrect. I had hoped that this problem would be fixed as I reported this years ago and recieved a reply that this problem would be addressed. Is this ever going to be fixed or shall I give up and just use the other packages ( e'g. WSxM ) that do work correctly?
