I have some experience using KPFM in the two pass lift mode using Multimode (Nanoscope IIIa) AFM system.

Is it possible to do KPFM in a single pass mode (frequency modulation) with this system. If yes, what steps need to be followed.

thanks

Deepak,

Sorry, you can't do this as part of the standard NS3 system, but it is possible if you upgrade your system to a MM8 (NanoScope V plus PeakForce with the PF-KPFM package). With that configuration you will get much more capability than just FM. Check out http://nanoscaleworld.bruker-axs.com/nanoscaleworld/media/p/4037.aspx for more details.
