Icon and D3100 acoustic enclosure

Hello,

We received a new Icon with a vibration table without acoustic enclosure (VT-1000). We already had a D3100 with a vibration table with acoustic enclosure (Axiom VT-103-3K). 

Do you think we can install Icon in the acoustic hood of the D3100? 

When measuring, there is very little millimiters for the connectics. I wanted to know if any of you have tried to put a Icon in the sound box of a D3100.

This will prevent me from doing unnecessary testing.
