Hello

I have recently found out, that metal holder of the tip chip (block on which you lay the chip) is slightly off. Should be the greenish wire connected to the metal block? Is it repairable only by glueing the metal block?

Thanks for info

Jimmy

I tried to update the flickr to allow seeing the images. Flickr was first search result for publishing images. Hopefully it works now.

Anyway the problem is shifted and most likely detached part of the holder. You place the tip onto metal block and then it is locked with the spring lever, but the metal block is off, and I cant see properly the attached cables (in your image the orange ones) on my holder. I don't know, if it is part of the Z piezo or if I try to glue it, will it have functional restriction?.

I can almost not immaging that reclueing it is a problem, but I would contact the service from Bruker, for me it looks like a bad made part, they (should) exchange it, but ....... i am not Bruker.

If they not replace it I would try to reclue and try because in this case yoiu have to buy the part anyway....

Hi Jimmy,

I can't see your picture. Can you contact Bruker Tech Support in your region?

Thanks,

Teddy
