I would like to know if your Fluid Cells, particularly the MTFML and the MMTMEC, are Tetrahydrafuran (THF) resistant?
Best Regards,
The fluid cell itself shouldn't be harmed by THF. It's just glass, PTFE, and gold plated platinum-iridium wire.
The challenge is finding a suitable o-ring material. We offer silicone, fluorosilicone and Viton o-rings, but none of these have good resistance to THF. Only fluoropolymers like PTFE have suitable chemical resistance, but even more advanced ones like Kalrez are quite stiff and therefore not suitable for use with the MultiMode fluid cells.
There's a good chemical compatibility guide here for reference.
Regards,
-Ben
