Hi,
I have just started using a multi-mode AFM with a Nanoscope IIIa controller and Nanoscope 6.14 software.
I don't seem to find the way to acquire force-distance curves using the software. I had always previously used MFP3D microscopes and therefore, I am not familiar with the current instrument.
Is there some standard operating procedure to obtain force-distance curves?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Senthil
Hi Senthil,
Force curves in Nanoscope are excecuted using the "ramp" function. Once in ramp mode you will find that it is pretty much self explanatory. There is also a manual that explains that functionality in detail. If you do not have it please let us know.
Stefan
The PicoForce manual is the best bet for v6 force curve instructions. Do you have a copy of this? If not, send me your email and I can forward you a copy.Steve
Thanks Stefan and Stephen.
I believe that I have seen the PicoForce manual in PDF format. If I don't seem to find it, I will contact you.
Thank you once again.
