Hello,

I want to do viscoelastic measurements with the Bioscope. We already did these measurements a long time ago.

So, I applied an external sinus signal (from the lock-in) to the piezo through the extension box. I used the relative trigger and introduce a ramp delay to applied the modulation when I am in contact with the surface.

The force curve doesn’t take account of the delay and thus shows a gap (delay) between the approach and the withdraw curves. Also, I don’t see a signal on the hard surface (amplitude of the sinus is 0.5V, from the lock-in).

I put force modulation on disabled, as I use an external signal. Is it ok?

Thanks,
Alan

Hi Alan,

We are not sure what your exact configuration is and what you are actually trying to do. Could you please post a more detailed description incl maybe a blcok diagram?

Thanks,

Stefan
