Sales Applications Engineer – Bruker Nano Surfaces Division - UK

Bruker Nano Surfaces Division has an open position in UK office for an application engineer covering Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM),  stylus and optical profiler product lines. The position is based in Cambridge, England and will report to the UK sales manager. It will cover, but not be limited to: UK, Ireland and Scandinavia

Key responsibilities include:

• Demonstrating the AFM, optical and stylus product line to prospective customers in academia and industry
• Managing & maintaining the UK applications laboratory
• Supporting the UK and Scandinavian sales team with technical skills and visits to customer sites
• Promoting Bruker Nano Surfaces Division solutions through workshops and conferences
• Supporting the existing  Bruker Nano Surfaces division customers in assigned territories

Potential candidates should be PhD level with wide SPM background. Self motivation, teamworking and excellent communication skills are mandatory. Former experience in instrumentation business and in using optical and/or stylus profilers will be beneficial. Fluent written and spoken English is required together with a clean driving license.
