Message from Our Vice President and General Manager:
With the current great technological advancements and integrations expanding science and opening the door to new possibilities, it is an amazing time to be involved in the development and manufacture of atomic force microscopes. Bruker is on the frontline delivering the revolutionary new technologies that are empowering scientists and enabling new research. Our Dimension FastScan™, the world’s fastest AFM, has been met with great enthusiasm as it enables scientists and researchers to do things not possible before. We have already shipped many systems, and industry leaders are calling it the new gold standard, which delivers highest resolution and performance at blazing speeds and provides results that are otherwise just not possible to achieve. View our AFM videos at youtube.com/BrukerNanoSurfaces.
The integration of technologies complementary to AFM is likewise playing an important role in fueling new nanoscale information and advances. As the leading AFM manufacturer, Bruker has partnered directly with the leading Raman products to deliver complete, state-of-the-art AFM-Raman systems. One example is the Dimension Icon AFM-Raman, which combines highest performance AFM with co-localized micro-Raman capability. Another example is Bruker’s Integrated AFM-Raman Imaging System (IRIS), which removes the guesswork from TERS and provides users the ability to perform integrated tip-enhanced AFM-Raman research without having to worry about compatibility of instrumentation and data.
Furthermore, the enthusiasm and excitement over the recent explosion of AFM advances within the scientific community was evident at The Seeing at the Nanoscale 2011 conference held in Santa Barbara, CA, at the end of July. The conference featured world leaders in AFM & SPM and was highlighted by 35 oral and 45 poster presentations. The interaction between the attendees and presenters lead to many animated discussions and served as a great opportunity for personal interaction with the top names in the industry. Plans are already under way for Seeing at the Nanoscale 2012, to be held in Bristol, England. We hope to see you there.
Finally the leading AFM and Raman technologies united in partnership to deliver advanced TERS research capabilities in a state-of- the-art solution. Discover AFM-Raman research without the worry of compatibility of instrumentation and data. Read Article
