Hello,
We want to study blends of n and p conductive polymers by Tuna.
Is it easy to distinguish a conductive polymer n or p by Tuna?
What's the difference signal should be expected between these two polymers?
Do you have praticals tips for starting this study.
Do you have a reference article to advise us?
Thank you for your answers
Hi Seb,
If the domains are of sufficient spatial extent to be addressed individually then the IV curve then you may obtain distinct IV curves. You will need to take clean IV curves without damaging the sample - always a challenge for CAFM/TUNA on polymers as contact mode (the mode underlying CAFM & TUNA) comes with lateral forces damaging soft samples. To avoid that issue you may want to consider PeakForce TUNA.
Best,
Thomas
We are aware that the peak force tuna would be better suited to our study. But we have no this mode,
we have only a N3A with the tuna module.
For you, it is not possible to distinguish polymers n or p only by imaging mode, we must compare the curves iv? For me, if we reverse voltage, the two polymers must respond differently. this reasoning is too simplistic? thanks Seb
