Hello

I have a problem, maybe someone can help me.

I work with an AFM MultiMode NanoScope III Controller from Veeco.

  I want to calculate Young modulus

E=4(1-υ2)Fmax / 3tanα δ2

 but I don't know what angle has the tip that I use ( diamond tip DNISP model)

Help me!!!
Thanks in advance!

Hi Inna,

Thanks for the inquiry.  You can find the tip Front angles (FA), Side angle (SA), and Back angle (BA) of the DNISP probe here:

https://www.brukerafmprobes.com/Product.aspx?ProductID=3253

For clarification on which angles are which (ie FA, SA, BA), please refer to the tip schematic link under the tip SEM on that product page, or you can find it here:

https://www.brukerafmprobes.com/showTipDetails.aspx?imagename=/images/Product/tip/fullsize/DNISP.jpg.

Feel free to email me at david.durham@bruker-nano.com if you have any other questions.

Best regards,

Dave
