Hi,
I am using the BioScope Catalyst.
I can’t manage to engage in fluid with the DNP-10 probe (the “D” cantilever). The motor don’t move, I obtain a false engagement, even if I’m going deep in the liquid (to avoid any false engage due to the liquid surface).
I have not this issue in air.
I also tried to remove the “C” cantilever from the substrate.
Have you ever noticed the same problem? What could I do to fix it?
Best regards
Go to the Microscope menu and select Engage Settings...
Then lower Engange Gain (e.g. 0.2 or so), and also lower the Engage Step (e.g. to 5um). Maybe this helps. Try different gains.
Hi Janne,
Thank you for your useful advice. It worked well.
