http://www.brukerafmprobes.com/a-3480-dafmch.aspx Here is the holder we use for the AFM.
We find that one of those four pins is used to apply signal(e.g. voltage) to the tip and normally shorted to the ground.
But now we directly connect a wire to the clamp of the holder to send a signal to the tip.
But if the pin which is connected to the clamp is shorted to the ground, then the signal we send to the conductive tip will go into the ground, instead of pass through our sample touching with the tip.
My questions:
how to isolate the pin from ground? Is there someting I can set on the controller?
Or since the pin is used to apply signals to a tip, then where is the input port connected to this pin? Is it on the controller?
Maybe I need to check the model of the controller.
Thank you! Very appreciate!
