What is the Z resonance?

Z Resonance refers to the resonance frequency of your AFM z-scanner assembly. In PeakForce Tapping you drive the z-piezo with a sinusoidal wave and want to avoid hitting the scanner resonance at that frequency. Hence the decision to use a conservative 2 kHz on the ICON system to stay way below any z resonance.
