Hi,

I am using NanoScope Analysis v1.5 to evaluate the surface structure of coated glass samples.

Upon examining the roughness data, I notice that there are two parameters, namely Surface Area Difference and Sdr, which yield significantly different answers. Could you clarify why this is so, since my understanding (which may well be incorrect) from using other software, is that these two terms are generally interchangeable, and usually give similar results.

Thank you.
