Dear All,

I started using peakforce mode recently.

as far as I understand is that the peakforce is a dynamic mode in which the drive frequency is very low (2Khz) compared to the resonance frequency.

Also it uses a peakforce as a feedback loop (working at constant peakforce).

My question is simple: How this force is measured ?

I think that the AFM outputs are still deflection, amplitude and phase. How these outputs are used to calculate the force in peakforce mode ?

which equation is used and under which assumptions ?

Regards,

Souier.
