Dear Luci,
Support note 205 rev C guides you through the board replacements in the Multimode base to upgrade to Phase. The same instructions would be applied to the upgrades for Quadrex, but there may be different boards involved depending on what you are working with.
The support note for Quadrex upgrade and installation is 322 rev C. This guides you through the IC replacement in a NS3A controller for Quadrex compatibility, the jumper settings in the Multimode base and general operation and theory of operations for the Quadrex extender.
