  • Re: Nanoscope IIIa problem

Hi Matheus, In case Pat's message did not go though I copy it below. Again, this is to get your 10+ year old PC going. Let's hope it works. I will also contact our Brazilian rep to check on your upgrade case. Stefan Hi Matheus I’ve looked everywhere around here and can’t find that file. I did a little searching on the web for you

  • Re: HarmoniX and Adaptive Scan

Stefan, You mean HMX with Adaptive? Yes, I just tested it on a few lines and it seemed to work fine. Best, Alex.

  • Re: HarmoniX and Adaptive Scan

Ben, I just tried and confirm that Adaptive Scan is available and works quite nicely with HarmoniX. I also figured that unlike with thePeakForce Tapping menus, HMX doesn't offer any air or liquid sub-menus. I found this strange when you think how HMX in liquid is hard to operate compared to HMX in air. I know that the % of HMX users vs OFT users

  • Re: Question about MIRO

Hi Ben, I didn't know that creating the ROIs was so much memory-consuming. Now I understand your deliberate choice. Good trick to modify/save several times. Actually in my case, I imported a nice fluorescence image (triple dye) as the background image from an external system. So now way I could separate it into 3 fluorescence images. But this is

  • Question about MIRO

Hi, Last time I used MIRO, I figured out that the software doesn't allow generating more than 5 Region Of Interest views, which could be helpful when we want to correlate several fluroescence channels to several AFM channels (you might want to generate at least a tenth of ROIs). Is it a bug with my version or a general restriction? Thanks, Alex

  • Re: How to use Point and Shoot Method to Calculate Modulus in Live Cells using the Catalyst

Hi Iman, Ang is right. I also recommend ScanAsyst Fluid (nominal k =0.7 N/m) and ScanAsyst Air (nominal k =0.4 N/m; they can also perfectly be used in liquid) probes, under the condition that you work on not too soft cells (they should be 50 kPa or stiffer). With SA Fluid probes I found a high discrepancy in terms of spring constant (the tip radius
