Hi!

I have the Quadrexed Dimension 3000 NanoScope IIIa with software v.5.30r3.sr3 (2005).

So,

1. Can somebody help me with Nanolithography command reference? There is a lack of information in DI manual.

2.  How can I ask for software update ?

Thanks,

Peter

Peter,

Please find the Support note attached here: Nanolithography Support Note.pdf
(If you received the standard factory shipment for Litho you should have the user manual documents already. If not I can send you a link for the CD.)
This support note details NanoLithography theory, NanoScript™ syntax for performing lithography commands and procedures to test, build and run NanoLithography programs. Refer to the following sections for using your NanoLithography Package:

New NanoLithography Package: Section 316.2 on Page 2
Package Contents: Section 316.2.1 on Page 2
Terms and Definitions: Section 316.2.2 on Page 3
NanoLithography Theory: Section 316.3 on Page 5
Procedures to Perform NanoLithography: Section 316.4 on Page 8
Testing Your System [LithoHelloWorld.dll]: Section 316.4.2 on Page 9
Testing Your System [Diamond.dll]: Section 316.4.3 on Page 15
Modifying a Lithography Program: Section 316.4.4 on Page 19
Writing a New Lithography Program: Section 316.4.5 on Page 24
Exporting Older Programs into Version 5.12 or Later: Section 316.4.6 on Page 30
Performance Tips: Section 316.4.7 on Page 31
Sample Programs Overview: Section 316.5 on Page 33
NanoScript Macros: Section 316.6 on Page 37
Litho.h Functions: Section 316.7 on Page 38
Gui.h Functions: Section 316.8 on Page 46

I believe that the latest SW version available for a NSIIIa/D3000 is probably 5.31r1, but the main changes from 5.30 were to support a newer video card.  You should not update unless you have this video card.  Send me your location and I can forward your message to the local service team to discuss this with you, or contact them direct at: http://www.veeco.com/contact/Tech_Support/index.aspx

Hi, Stephen

thanks for replay.

We have made factory upgrade of our SPM in 2004 (Veeco-Europe, France).
I have now the NanoLithography manual (Software Version 5.12 Part Number: 004-984-000, revision A 12/17/01) and C++ installation disk only.

It will be great to obtain current CD and manual !

Our SPM:
Microscope No 483
Controller No 1495

Location
Institute of Semiconductor Physics
Kyiv, Ukraine

Peter,

I am out of the office today, but will send you an offline link to the CD when I return.

Dear Stephen!

I'm working on Dimension 3100 with Controller IIIa and Nanoscope 5.30 software at Chemical Research Center of Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

I have some troubles with nanoscope software - it does not start at all due to Internal error message: Get size failure.

I'd like to try upgrade  to nanoscope  5.31 version.

How can I get a newer version of software?

Thank you for your attention!

Istvan

Istvan,

Getting SW upgrades is a straight forward process. You simply need to contact Tech Support and they will give you a link and instructions.

The WW listings for Support are here:

http://www.bruker-axs.com/nano_surfaces_support.html

In a separate email I will also connect you to John Tedesco so he can work with you direct.

Best,

Steve
