Dear all-

Silly question but I can't find a schematic that labels which cantilever is which for the Bruker probes (i.e. http://www.brukerafmprobes.com/p-3693-snl-10.aspx). Normally you can figure this out with common sense and tuning but it must be shown somewhere right?

Thanks for the help and happy AFMing.

Hi Emily,

Page 45 of our downloadable catalog, which you can find on the homepage of our Probe site brukerafmprobes.com (or you can download it directly here) has a schematic of the cantilever orientations for our multi-cantilevered probes.  The SNL probes, specifically, have the C & D cantilever pointing away from you as you open the box of probes, with the D cantilever on the left and the C cantilever on the right.

Great, thanks for the answer Dave but don't you think it should be easier to find than in a 28 MB downloadable catalog?Just a suggestion...

Thanks again!

Yes, it should!

All of the applicable products now have a direct link to the layout diagrams, under their product page's "Cantilever Specifications" section on the Probe site.

Thanks for the great suggestion! Cool
