  • Re: Will version v530r3sr3 software work under Windows 7 or XP Pro (with SP3) ?

Vinnie, The latest V5 version is V5.31R1. Both V5.30R3sr3 and V5.31R1 run under XP Pro. Bruker AFM Service currently provides and supports RDSF computers with XP PRO using SP3 and latest XP Windows updates for V5. V5 is unqualified under Windows 7 and there is no plan to upgrade V5 for Windows 7 support. Please contact Service if they are experiencing

Sandeep, I checked with the team and we are not completely clear on what you describe. Give the following a try, if it is not what you need, could you send a screen shot of the problem? To bring up the NanoScope DOS debug window use “-console” as a command line argument when starting Z.exe. (Edit the shortcut to: z.exe –console). That

OK. Keep us posted. It sounds like you are doing everything right, so this may be a service issue. If you will be out for 3 weeks you may want to consider contacting tech support, so the repair can be underway while you are gone. http://www.bruker-axs.com/nano_surfaces_support.html Best, Steve

  • Re: Dependence of deflection-sensitivity on ramp-size

Hi Jonas, We looked at your files and indeed the behavior is strange. We think there may be an equipment problem. Do you have an extra scanner? If so can you repeat the measurement with the different scanner, using a different probe, on a silicon sample? If you still have a problem, we can set up a TeamViewer session to take the next step. Thanks, Steve

  • Re: laser alignment on TESP or TESPA tips ?

Jay, Check out this training manual, I think it will answer a lot of your questions: MANUAL, TRAINING STANDARD VERSION-E (004-130-000).pdf I would also recommend having someone who knows the system spend a few hours with you to get you started. This will get you productive much faster. The TESPA should have a higher sum. The A stands for aluminium coating
