Hey Dejan, I am trying the same thing (Multimode with MTFML and BL-AC40TS) and I also have the same problems... so if you find any solutions, please let us know here. Did you also try to use SNL cantilevers? I'm looking at small protein filaments in liquid and these levers did already a quite good job. Cheers, Raphael

The sample is glued properly and the cleave is also good. I have the same problem also with glass and silicon surfaces. Stefan, you're right, the c-lever I'm using has its k around 0.15-0.25. I am now playing with the "tapping engage" settings which shows some effect but the problem still exists. The only way of a "smooth"

Hi, I try to get (high) resolution images of intermediate filaments on mica in buffer solution. In principle it works but I have a strange reproducible problem during engage: When I am far away from the surface the applied drive amplitude is around 500mV which results in 200-250mV amplitude at a frequency of 6-7kHz. During the approach at some point

Hey Matt, I had the same problem. If you are using 2 screens, a quick fix which worked for me is just by switching the control and image windows. Its maybe somehow related to a "master" screen or so... but I did not look more into this issue.

Hey Mirela, we wrote some code for Igor Pro which allows us to analyze FV maps. Maybe you have to change some parts of the code to extract the elastic modulus but this should not be a big problem. Raphi
