  • Force volume in Nanoscope analysis

Hello, I just installed the nanoscope analyse software and I started using the new FV interface. I was able to get elastic modulus map but I couldn't check how the force curves were fitted. I was wondering if it was possible to display the fitting curve on the force curve? Thanks, Benoit.

  • Tipless probes calibration

Hello, I would like to determin the overall elasticity of single cell using tipless cantilever (without attaching the cell to the cantilever). Is it possible to calibrate a tipless cantilever especially the deflexion sensitivity? Does anyone already tried that? Any advice? Thank you, Benoit.

  • Re: Peak force QNM, Probe calibration

Hi Bede, Actually it is what I did. I did thermal tuning and enter the Q parameter and the frequency I got from the thermal tuning into the "Sader method" website. For the width and length I took the nominal value provided by Bruker. Could you tell me if I did it the right way? Thanks, Benoit.

Thank you Ang Li, I didn't save all the calibration step, so let me do it again and I will send you the files. Benoit.

  • Peak force QNM, Probe calibration

Hello, I just acquired the Peak force QNM package on a Bioscope catalyst and I would like to know what would be the best way to calibrate stiff probe (TAP525)? What I did so far is using the sapphire surface to calibrate the deflexion sensitivity and then the thermal tuning and the sader methods for the spring constant, then I used the rough Ti surface

  • Re: QNM calibration parameter?

Hello Mayur, can you tell me exactly what I need to put in scaling factor A to correct the tip radius from default to real? Also there is a bug in the offline software, in force volume mode I tried to switch from nm to nN in force volume channel by updating the sensitivity from nm/V to nN/V and it keep changing the scale in the image channel whatever

Hello Angli, I tried to switch from nm to nN using your method but instead of making the change on the FV channel it change on the Image channel (that switch from nm to nN). i have the choice between 2 channels in command-set sensitivity but whatever channel I update, the update is done in the image channel... i am not sure it is clear but do you have

  • PF QNM Tip qualification

Hello, What kind of surface can I use to determin the radius of my tip? Can I use VGRP-GS surface and if yes how? Thanks.
