Thanks Dave for posting my question and thanks Stefan for the answer. I went ahead and installed the 5u scanner and followed the instructions in the manual for taking an atomic resolution image. All I get is random noise when viewing the error signal. Is there a newbie guide on how to get started? Any troubleshooting tips?

  • Autoprobe Questions

First post! I have an Autoprobe AFM. How do I switch from tapping mode to non-contact mode? Why does the instrument act differently the longer I use it? Images in the morning appear decent. The images get noticeably more random as the day goes on. I'm sure to be back with more questions.
