Hi,
I got that email below from one of my colleague. Though I know the product, I never had a chance to use it so if you have the answer to any (all) of the questions listed below, thanks for helping out:
Hi Alex
I hope you are all well.
If you know the FSUB-11 could you answer and advice the following questions of our user?
1. How size is this substrate, 15mm X 15mm ?
2. How prepare the sample? Only drop the sample in the buffer on it?
3. Is it possible to use this substrate in repeating fashion?
4. Have you use this? How is flatness? Is it enough smooth for bio molecule?
5. What is expire date? How should user keeping this? In the refrigerator?
As I recall, the substrate are a bit smaller, about 10x10mm square such that they fit conveniently in the MultiMode.
The substrates are amine group functionalized. As such, they are single use only. The idea is to use a glutaraldehyde linker to bind proteins to the amine surface.
Some further details are available in this Application Note. Please check with Bruker Probes for availability.
