Dear community,
We all know that it can be very important to compare Trace and Retrace curves as it tells a lot about possible measurement artifacts. While we can always see both Trace and Retrace data in the form of curves below our images, the images themselves are always only either the one or the other (I think default is Retrace). I tried to find the command to save both the Trace and the Retrace image so that I can compare the two offline as well, but I wasn't successful. I guess there is an option like that, right? Could you tell me how to do that?
Best regards, Dietmar
Hi,
you can just add another channel with the other trace/retrace setting set.
So in my case for example I use following channels:
1: height (trace)
2: deflection error (trace)
3: friction (trace)
4: height (retrace)
In my AFM I can use up to 8 channels so it's not a problem to add more channels if needed
Dear Janne,
Thanks a lot. As I thought, the answer is easy, but I didn't think of something like that so far. Helps me a lot!
Thanks you, Dietmar
