What I want to do is draw a section line thru the same pixels in a Height and Phase image.

I understood that NanoScope Analysis has the feature where you can select two or more tabs (data channels) and do something with both channels simultaneously.

When I tried section analysis I got the error message:

"Warning.

You can't synchronize cursors on different view types. Please select another analysis to apply on the selected views."

What should I be doing to get a useful comparison between two data channels?

My NA version is 2.0 build R1.sr3.163525 dated 7/20/2020.

Once again the magic worked.  I asked for help and soon I found the answer on my own.

The error message was caused by prior history.  I had used the Crop and Split function on the image and the zoom box remained in one data channel.  Closing and reopening the software cleared that status and I was able to make synchronized section plots.
