Hi, Does anyone with experience using RMN probes have any input on the enhancement in current values observed with these tips compared to Si tips coated with Pt on a standard semiconductor sample? Are they capable of extracting higher currents compared to conventional tips? Is there also any literature for papers published with these tips? Thanks, Dave

Thanks Steve!

Hi, Is there a spec for the nominal sensitivity of Bruker's DMASP cantilevers for sensing? As in the charge or current per meter of applied force or displacement to the cantilever tip, as opposed to the displacement of the tip per applied voltage? Thanks, Dave

Bump. If there is something like a list of chemically compatible fluids that have been tested that would be nice too. Thanks, Dave

Laura, On the Pt-Ir coated probes, the coating can wear down or wear off over time while scanning. This is not an issue with the solid metal probes because there is no coating -- the entire probe is solid conductive Platinum. Dave

Can someone please tell me if the Dimension fluid cell is compatible with Diiodomethane? Thanks, Dave

Hi, Can someone please give me some suggestions for binding Zeolite to Mica (or other material) for imaging in liquid? Thanks, Dave

I am happy to inform you that Bruker AFM Probes is now supplying Rocky Mountain solid Platinum probes. Solid Platinum probes offer excellent conductivity and suffer no thin-flim adhesion problems that occur with metal-coated silicon probes. These probes also have a tip radius (<20 nm) which is difficult to routinely obtain by standard AFM probe processing

Do you know anything about surface parameter calculations or know somebody at Bruker who does? I know how to calculate 2-D/3-D Ra and RMS Roughness for an AFM, Optical Profiler, Contact Profiler, etc, but I was wondering if you could provide me with an equation for waviness. All the references I’ve read state waviness more as a concept, but they

We have bought a package of [Bruker] DMASP Active probes. My question is: what is the range of voltage that can be produced as a result of deflection of ZnO stack in DMASP. We are going to use it as a sensor not actuator. Therefore, we need to know the range of voltage that can be sensed when the DMASP deflects. I appreciate your time and help.
