Today I have tried some temperature controlled experiments. In the past they worked fine but today it did not. The problem is that the Heater Temperature and the Sample Temperature are switched in the software. I have a Lakeshore 331 connected to a Catalyst. If I heat up the "yellow" thermocouple (this is the sample temperature) the Heather

Bede, In some discussions there was also a 32 bits version mentioned. But I don think it is there? Can you tell for sure if there is a 32 bits version? Joop

It is the latest 8.15 build R3Sr3.92827 Joop

Some testing: Made the calibration file "read-only", first test is that it does not have any effect in the system, so I will leave it to "read-only" at least for now! Joop

Dear all, I encountered last week a very big problem. For some reason the scanner calibration file of the catalyst changed, especially for the Z-piezo calibration. Calibration values that where changed: \Z range sens: 160.711 to \Z range sens: 154.331 \@Sens. Zsens: V 108.0000 nm/V to \@Sens. Zsens: V 165.2175 nm/V \@Sens. Xsensor: V 9578.291 nm/V to

Before you do the fit you should zoom in a lot more on the peak so that your x-axis is only ~10 to 30 eV. Than your baseline is "straight"and the fit will be good because with the axis like this you will get very wrong fittings and as a result wrong spring constants. You zoom in with "control" mouse click, but I think you will know

Hello Polis, I really had a good look at your files this weekend, but I am afraid I can not really help you. If I look at the scale's in the adhesion graph it is exactly the same as the adhesion's measured with "point and shoot". If it is flipping around as you claim, I can not see. The part were you do you point and shoot is on such

My first guess is that there is something wrong with your calibration file of the e-scanner, assuming you select the right calibration file. If you still have the previous calibration file from before the last calibration try loading that one and try again. The fastY sensitivity looks wrong ( top of the picture is much more stretched than the bottom
