Normal 0 false false false EN-GB X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Dear all, this is a bit of a follow up on a previous post [1]. Normal 0 false false false EN-GB X-NONE X-NONE We need to know how to read the force curves in our own program. Our program is cross-platform, it may be used on PowerPC Mac, ARM Linux, x86-64 FreeBSD, etc. We need

Thank you very much Chunzeng! I have some followup questions/comments:
Here are my answers to your questions: The same bias voltage is maintained for both trace and retrace, so you can select data on either trace or retrace.
Thanks!
When using false engage, you must set

Hi we have found some calibrated samples from IMEC http://www2.imec.be/be_en/home.html

Dear all, I recently got involved in doing some SSRM measurements and I have some questions as how the ICON goes around doing the measurment: When doing scans I only choose trace (or retrace) is the voltage bias maintained during the retrace (trace?) when setting up a false engage with the resistor attached I have, in the software, a setting for the

Hello there, I was wondering whether the parameters of the lockin amplifiers are saved anywhere in the header file? Or anywhere else? I have software version 8 and the integrated lockin amplifiers that come with the Icon. Thanks very much Tim

Yes, Ian contacted me. I'll see him in the next couple of weeks. Thanks!

I have done scan Asyst once in the past with little problem. Z range size of 1.2um to 1.6um. And scan size of 50um. I was using one of the NSC36 http://www.spmtips.com/nsc/36/co-cr I was able to do 24 scans in 6 different samples no problem But now I have similar sample I tried the same tip but it was wasted. I decided to give a go at the Scan Asyst

Thanks Stephen, I'm only interested in topography. I was using ScanAsyst-Air tips but it seems that my surface is too rough (range can be around 1um). From time to time the scanner would ask me to withdraw because crash warnings (1 scan area is 5um but the other is 50um). I had to go for another contact tip I had laying around. Doesn't seem

Thanks Bede and Adam. I think I'll give a little more work in with python. I don't think I can justify the expense for an extra module. I've been looking at the *.h files and found one for engage and scan but I haven't found one for running a program.

Would like to know as well. I was using simple scanAsyst to scan a 50um area the velocity seemed to accelerate after a few scans. But today I'm not getting anything better than 0.1Hz. I thought using the scanasyst air tips would be better but I'm seeing little advantage. k spring calculations don't seem to work for these.
