you don't need MIRO for this purpose, you can use Nanoscope Analysis to do so. just select skin channel that you are interested when you render the 3d image. Ang Li

Hi, I would suggest you send it back to factory for the fix. You may check the repair price first.

Hi, The noise could be from different sources or just simply too high gain (looks like in your image). can you send the original file and a clear screen shot of your settings and maybe tuning curve to ang.li@bruker-nano.com ? Ang Li

I guess you have already got the suggestion from James, I just post here the link for other's reference and try: Normal 0 false false false EN-SG ZH-CN X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 http://www.meyer-haake.com/cms/index.php/en/produkte-2/epiglu http://www.sigmaaldrich.com/catalog/product/sigma/z359106?lang=de®ion=DE

including adhesion force is equivalent to DMT model fit. you can try setting min fit boundary to 0 and change the option to see how the adhesion is included (how the zero line change). Ang Li

Hi, can you send me an example of the problem you described? And where did you report the problem to last time? My email address is Ang.li@bruker-nano.com. Thanks! Ang Li

Z is the voltage signal applied to the piezo and z sensor is the actual movement of the piezo. I guess you ramped in z open loop so your z signal is consistent and z sensor is discrete. It's because each step you give the piezo a constant voltage, the actual movement of the piezo is not the same and that's what z sensor reads. Ang Li

Each system computer should comes with manuals preloaded. You can find the shortcut on the desktop named 'manuals' or I guess you can find the folder on D drive. Btw, for soft material like 200kPa, you need soft cantilever as well as sneddon model fit instead of DMT model fit if the deformation channel shows a mean of tens of nm or more. Ang

I guess the spring constant was specified to the original cantilever and since you have extra mass attached, the resonance frequency will shift and back calculation of spring constant from thermal tune will be offseted. Ang Li

It looks to me you are using trigger off mode and it's recommended to use trigger relative mode for force ramp. You should have a normal force curve as Polis showed (although the wavy baseline is not very normal if it's not peakforce curve) for an accurate analysis. Ang Li
