  • SINGLE-WALLED CARBON NANOTUBE PROBES FOR AFM IMAGING

This paper discusses fabrication and characterization of single-walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) AFM probes. By selectively deposit catalytic nanoparticles onto commercial AFM probes with silicon tips, we are able to grow SWNTs in the wafer scale, with 30-50% usable probe yield. We also discuss in detail...

  • Re: Carbon Nanotube Deposition

Justin, I pasted a couple of recipes below, but unfortunately neither are a water based; I don't have of one of those. . . Is sound like it's working for you in organics, but in the past, we have found that depending on the source of the CNTs, their quality can vary and there can be a lot of...

  • Re: Carbon Nanotube Probes (CNP) for high resolution imaging

Carbon nanotube tips are notoriously difficult and temperamental. You are correct that despite the wonderful properties of carbon nanotubes, their application on AFM probes leaves them quite fragile. Examples of using them to successfully improve the resolution over very careful tapping are few. Before...

Colleague, - The CNT350 does not end bearing carboxylic acid funational groups. - The CNT350 is a MWCNT Let me know if you have any more questions. Weijie
